This textbook is drawn up on the basis of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education (Moscow, 2020) for foreign students of higher educational establishments on a medical specialty. The publication is a product of material selection by the Department staff necessary to teach Biol ogy to students of foreign faculty, laying the fundamentals of natural science disciplines studied in medical institutions. The structure of the textbook corresponds to the module system of teaching.
